GADVタンパク質研究所では、池原健二博士が精力的に新しい論文を発表しています(下記)。特に、大野乾先生の相同な遺伝子生成に関する「遺伝子重複説」とは異なる、全く新規な遺伝子創生に関する 「GC-NSF(a) 仮説」の直接的証拠を得た「Direct Evidence for GC-NSF(a) Hypothesis on Creation of Entirely New Gene/Protein」の論文、そして、遺伝暗号とアミノ酸をつなぐ tRNA の起源に関する新しい考え方「Anticodon-stem loop Hypothesis」は、秀逸です。ぜひ皆さんに読んでいただきたいです。さらに、代謝の起源、細胞の起源に関する新しい考え方にも挑戦中です。

In GADV Protein Laboratory, Dr. Kenji Ikehara has published new papers (see below). Especially, two papers are excellent: One is “Direct Evidence for GC-NSF(a) Hypothesis on Creation of Entirely New Gene/Protein”, in which “GC-NSF(a) Hypothesis” different from the “Gene-duplication theory” of Dr. Susumu Ohno, is discussed, and the other is “The Origin of tRNA deduced from Pseudomonas aeruginosa 5’ Anticodon-stem Sequence -Anticodon-stem loop hypothesis-”, in which new hypothesis on the origin of tRNA mediating between genetic code and amino acid has been proposed. We recommend you to read them. Furthermore, Dr. Ikehara is trying to solve the riddles of the origins of metabolism and cells.
